What I do

​

• Boardercross is an individual sport that features 4 to 5 snowboard riders, racing through features on a course.
• TIme trials are done at the beginning of each race to determine seeding for brackets, these are done individually.
• Top 2 finishers from each heat, move on to the next and this continues until the finals, where 4 people battle it out for a podium finish.
• Top 3 competitors of each race receive medals/podium placement.

What Races look like

• Races occur on Sunday Afternoons during the race weekend.
• A boardercross course is very similar to a motocross course as it features berms (turns) and rollers (bumps) and often more technical features like jumps and drops depending on the location.
