How it works - Implementation
Step 1
Locate Request
Locate the request in the LMACS system.
Step 2
Modify Request
Assign the request and its items. Modify properties as necessary, assign and add due dates.
That’s it!
Smile. You’re done.
The Request Management page is similar to other administration pages in LMACS.
The items are listed in reverse chronological order with the newest requests displayed first.
The familiar filter panel allows you display requests matching a variety of search parameters.
From this page, you can quickly see due dates, status, and assignments. You can also quickly change the status.
Click the desired request to go to the management page.
The Request Queue
Step 1. Searching & Viewing Requests
Requests can be filtered or searched as with other items in LMACS
Items in the queue are listed with the most the recently submitted on top by default
Quickly view assignments, or change status directly from the queue
The management page is nearly identical to the user modification page, except that managers are able to modify more properties.
In addition to the basic properties, managers can also assign the request to users and set an optional due date.
Also, the request history is visible to managers. This detailed history records all changes made to the request and its items.
TIP You can drag and drop the panels to order them as you please. The system will remember your settings next time you visit the page.

Adding comments and files is exactly the same for managers as for users.
When adding items as a manager, in addition to the basic parameters available, you will also have the ability to add an optional due date, and immediately assign this item.
If the selected Type has any “auto assignments” setup, any users added at this point will be combined with those specified in the type.
Adding Items
Step 2. Manager - Adding Items
Add optional Due Date
Optionally assign to users
The History section contains a record of all changes made to the request and its items. Any changes that are related to items are tagged in the same way as the comments and files.
If an item is deleted, all comments and files related to that item are removed; however, the history remains intact so you would be able to see those actions.

Step 2. Manager - Viewing History
Entries related to items are tagged
As with the Request management page, the request item management section is nearly identical to the user view, with the addition of some extra fields.
Manager can add files and comments in the same way user can.
In addition, managers can assign items, set due dates, and add costing information. Changes to this section require you to hit Update when done.
