  1. How do we best approach funding opportunities designed for PUIs or smaller institutions?�
  2. What strategies work best for writing compelling preliminary data sections when we have limited prior funding and smaller pilot studies? �
  3. How can we maximize our research budget at a PUI without appearing "cheap" or under-resourced? �
  4. What collaborative approaches can strengthen our applications—partnering with R1s as co-PIs, forming consortiums w/ other PUIs etc.? �
