Wikimedia/WMF: the Wikimedia Foundation, Inc. a 501(c)(3) that hosts Wikipedia and a bunch of other things

Phabricator/Phab: bugtracker used by MediaWiki, phabricator.wikimedia.org

MediaWiki: the software that powers Wikipedia (among other sites)

“core”: MediaWiki core, i.e. excluding extensions and skins
