So our startup is interested in addressing this barrier by partnering with apartment landlords. Specifically, we will install and maintain charging infrastructure at their parking lot for tenants with electric vehicles. We will also leave some electric vehicles in their parking space where tenants can sign up online to rent an EV. In return, we will pay a portion of the revenue to the landlords as part of the partnership.

By having electric rental cars and charging stations inside a property where a lot of people generally live short-term and may need a vehicle, this provides good marketing and convenience compared to searching and travelling to an electric car dealership and figuring out the logistics of recharging an EV.

Now similar to consumers of electric vehicles, some landlords might be hesitant of this partnership. However, following the EV adoption curve that was mentioned earlier, we will also develop partnerships with landlords with innovative mindset then early adopters and eventually early majority. We will find landlords who care not just about the environment or have many tenants with electric vehicles but also have an ambition to expand their traditional business model of apartment ownership and attract higher income tenants to increase the competitiveness of their property.
