What is a Professional Learning Community (PLC)?
2025-26 PLCs
The main goal of a Professional Learning Community (PLC) is to foster an ongoing community of educators around a focused topic. The 2025-26 PLCs are designed for educators eager to build meaningful connections, actively participate in the exchange of fresh ideas, and collaborate on the creation and sharing of best practices. Each PLC will emphasize exploring, developing, and sharing resources aligned with its core topic.
NLPS 7351 Topics in Computer Science is designed for students to investigate emerging disciplines within the field of computer science. Students will use foundational knowledge from Principles of Computing (NLPS 7183) to study the areas of data science, artificial intelligence, app/game development and security. Students will utilize knowledge related to these areas and programming skills to develop solutions to authentic problems
Eligibility and Pre-Requisites
This workshop is for high school teachers committed to teaching the NLPS Topics in Computer Science (7351) in the 2025-26 school year.
