Gramonnati Mandal’s Arts, Commerce & Science College, Narayangoan, is one of the eminent colleges affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The department of commerce was established in 1993.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) are three year full time degree courses. The intake capacity is 120 students for each division i.e.480 students (4 Divisions) for first year per year and for Second year & Third year 360 students and 360 students per year respectively. These courses provide conceptual, technical and an in-depth knowledge of different aspects of Accountancy, Taxation, Costing and Finance. This course is available in Marathi as well as English. These courses aim at acquiring skills & knowledge which are in high demand in the industry.

Our department has proved to be one of the best departments in the College with excellent results. The department has well qualified and dynamic faculty.

Course Objectives

  • The course will enable student to develop and groth of business skills, managerial skills and abilities and be capable of maintenance business accounts.
  • Students will be able to communicate effectively both in terms of business as well as social interaction.
  • The course will develop the ability to think creaticelly and independently translating into a well developed personal values system.
  • Provide students with a way to articulate the knowledge and abilities that they have gained and to express what they know to others.
  • Assist faculty in determining approriate assessment strategies.
