You don’t have to be a science major to be an
OT or OTA!
Pathway to Becoming an Occupational Therapist
Complete an undergrad degree.
Explore and apply to an accredited Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program.
Graduate with a MOT or OTD degree.
Pass the national occupational therapy board exam and earn OTR® certification.
Obtain a state license to practice.
