We do different drills at school.

Drills are to help us practice for emergency events. That way we know what to do.

We will be practicing a lockdown drill.

During a lockdown drill we move to a corner of the room.

We will sit together and we will sit quietly.

We will make sure to listen to our teacher’s directions.

When the drill is over a staff member we know will come open the door with a key.

Drills help us stay safe.
