  • Improves your ship in one way
  • Harms it in another way
  • Rigging skills reduce the drawback of rigs
  • CANNOT be removed from a ship - only destroyed

Tech & Meta Levels

That’s a lot of modules

Compare Tool

17 of 28

Compare Tool

  • All versions of one module do the same thing
  • Click the tick boxes to see the slight variations
  • Meta level: overall measure of power
    • Beware exceptions!

  • Trick: Tick that box to hide attributes that do not change!

18 of 28

Tech & Meta Levels

But what all of these names mean?

  • Meta modules’ names have a meaning – they explain in what way module is better than T1
  • In almost all cases Meta modules are better to use than T1s
  • Upgraded: Straight-up better stats
  • Compact: Reduced fitting cost (less CPU and Powergrid use)
  • Enduring: Longer cycle time and/or lower capacitor use
  • Ample: Higher capacity
  • Scoped: Longer range
  • Restrained: Less severe drawbacks
  • Precise: Better tracking
