What Causes Climate?
Climate :-�refers to the average year after year conditions of temperature , precipitation , wind , and clouds in an area and the water cycle . �
Temperature is affected by latitude , altitude , & the distance from large bodies of water .
A . Latitude
1- Tropical Zone ; is the area near the equator mostly warm .
2- Polar Zone ; is the area that is far from the equator mostly cold .
3- Temperate zone ; between the tropical zones and the polar zones , and it ranges from warm or hot in summer to cool or cold in winter.
B. Altitude�At Mountains altitude is a more Important than latitude �
C . Distance From large Bodies of water
1- Marine Climate ; It have a relatively mild winter and cool summer
2- Continental Climate ; Winters are cold while summer is warm or hot
