Morning Drop Off

    • Drop off at lower circle by 7:55. We will walk up to the classroom together.

    • If you arrive after 8:00, please go to the office for a late slip.

    • Please do not drop off at K circle or parking lot near our classroom.

Attendance

    • You can report absences through the attendance line, school website, or office email.

    • Independent studies are for 2-14 days.

    • Please give at least 3 days notice to the office prior

to an absence for an independent study.

Dress Code

    • No hats, hoods, or costume accessories in the classroom.

    • Shoes need a back or strap.

    • Wear shoes safe for recess activities (running, climbing, jumping etc.)

    • Every student can receive one free snack/ breakfast and lunch per day.

    • Snack recess is at 9:50 and lunch is at 11:20

    • Please send a labeled water bottle every day.

    • Green folders come home every night and should be returned the following morning

    • On review and test days there won’t be any math homework.

    • 10:10 - 11:20 Flex Groups
    • 11:20 - 12:00 Lunch
    • 12:00 - 2:20 Math, PE, Social Studies, Science, Art, Afternoon Recess
    • 2:20 - Pack up for 2:30 dismissal

** Volunteers must be cleared through office before volunteering**

    • Room Parent / Teacher Support

    • Homework Check-In: Tuesday - Friday, 8:00 - 8:30

    • Sight Word Busters: Daily for 45-60 mins (Time TBD)

    • Class Parties & Field Trip Chaperones: TBD

Tuesdays - PE

Field Trips

  • While we don’t have them scheduled yet, our two first grade field trips will be to Placer High School for an art day and the Roseville Theater to see a play.

  • Chaperones must be cleared through the office to attend. We recommend getting cleared early, as you have to update your paperwork with the office each year.

  • A lottery will be held if we have more interest than spots available.

Birthday Celebrations

    • No edible treats for birthdays

    • Some suggested alternatives are pencils, a book for the class library, stickers, etc

    • In class, we celebrate with a GoNoodle, birthday certificate, and pencil
