The Spring NJSLA & DLM Assessments measure a student’s attainment of key skills and knowledge as compared to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for the particular content area and grade level being assessed.
The State examines a district’s student average scale score and growth proficiency when measuring their overall performance in English Language Arts, Math & Science.

For the NJSLA-ELA assessment, students in Grade 3-9, knocked it out of the park.
NJSLA Spring 2025 English Language Arts District Results and Three-Year Comparative Analysis (n≥10)
For the NJSLA-Math assessment, students in Grade 3-8, achieved new heights by scoring at or above the State Average Scale Score, a first for the NJSLA-Math Grade 6 assessment.
NJSLA Spring Mathematics District Results and Three-Year Comparative Analysis (n≥10)
NJSLA-Science results are a sign of consistent student achievement and growth in
Grade 5 & 8.
Results inform classroom instruction.
Assessment is cumulative and measures student proficiency with the NJSLS-Science.
Areas of Assessment include Earth and Science, Life Science, and Physical Science.
Test Items require students to investigate, critique and make sense of phenomenon.
