Amateur Radio (Ham) – last resort/most reliable

  • The more people we have the better
  • ~$17 for an entry level radio (UV5R – Amazon.com)
  • Get every household able to listen (goal)
  • No license needed to listen (does take practice)
  • Ward ERC specialists are facilitators for training, points of contact
  • Training & practice most Sundays on air 15-20 minutes 144.990MHz
