Every day is shaped by the practice of spiritual disciplines, with the hope that spiritual disciplines will shape us, by encouraging character and spiritual formation. Every day includes worship, study, prayer, service, celebration, hospitality…

The signature Crow experience!

Routines (Wake-up, Chores, Cabin Clean-up)
Chapel / Worship / Testimony Time: Explain to the campers the “why” in “why camp exists.” Spiritual teaching, worship, and prayer give direction to the rest of life.
Cabin Time (Bedtime stories, Devos, Campfire Conversations): Quiet, personal, relational. Another gear for camper bonding - with each other and with leaders.
Outdoor Wilderness Adventure Activities (Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Canoeing, Mountain Hikes): Adventurous, new, and a bit scary.
Wide Games / Night Games: Big, chaotic, sometimes competitive, usually fun group activities that give everyone a shared story.
Skillz: Archery, Rock Climbing, Canoeing, but also Crafts, Survival, Board Games, Sauna
Food & Dining Hall Community: Jokes, songs, announcements, lakings. Also Eating
Free Time / Rest Period: Hanging out with friends, skipping rocks, playing spontaneous games, or sitting on the bench or the dock.
Wilderness Out-Trips: The signature Crow experience — physically different, unsettling, uncomfortable, difficult, challenging, spiritually rich, and memorable. Multi-day or overnight adventures mark the change from regular life to a week at camp.

We have buildings and safe Organized Infrastructure (dorms/cabins, dining rooms and kitchens, water system) at Multiple Camp Sites (Lake Site, Mountain Site, Gladstone Ranch) each having different special features, and types of camp (full-out-trip lake site, rustic mountain site, ranch, smaller/pop-off-site) ensuring flexibility and breadth of experience

Exposure to Creation

Experiencing creation gives insight into the Creator. By being immersed (sometimes figuratively; sometimes literally) in the natural, we are open to wonder, and to the supernatural. Mountain wilderness, water, forests give an alternative picture of what matters.

Sense of Wonder, Awe & Long-Term Love for Outdoors + Faith — When you see natural beauty, and experience your place in it, you become more like what you are.

Physical Health and Outdoor Skills (fitness, stamina, wilderness skills, outdoor competence) — through hiking, canoeing, backpacking, climbing, etc., campers develop physical resilience, outdoor competency, and confidence in nature.

Community & Belonging

(friendships, healthy social relationships) —kids playing together naturally build community, belonging, and peer relationships. It’s a different kind of place.

Life Skills (Resilience / Confidence / Independence / Obedience) — engaging in physically and mentally demanding outdoor activities builds self-reliance, confidence, and courage.

Leadership and Life Skills (responsibility, cooperation, teamwork, servant leadership, social maturity, stewardship) — for campers, and especially for cabin leaders: if you show an interest or aptitude, you will be given the chance to lead. Walk to the campfire with a guitar if you don’t believe me… They will make you play.
