  • SIOUX 3D MEMS, PRO2
  • BLACKFEET MICROFONICO
  • APACHE FIBRA OPTICA

12 of 58

  • Sensor 3D MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems) an all Italian pride invented by Bruno Murari in 1995
  • Constantly measures the acceleration on three axes (X, Y, Z) thus providing the possibility of "seeing" its spatial positioning and detecting the movement / inclination
  • High Signal / Noise ratio therefore better management of disturbances such as wind, rain and small impacts
  • No moving parts so no wear
  • Misura estremamente precisa, ripetibile e stabile in tutte le condizioni ambientali
  • Operating T° : -55°/+85°C
  • MTBF : around 250,000 hours

What is the Fuzzy Logic analysis applied to Siouxand the management of improper alarms

With Fuzzy Logic it is possible to evaluate both small signals (rain, wind, vibrations from vehicular traffic, small accidental impacts) and large signals (overriding, cutting) and assigning each one a different weight with 256 level thresholds and each one automatically activating a corresponding time threshold

18 of 58

FUZZY LOGIC ANALYSIS

Pag. 18

The event is not analyzed with only two threshold values, corresponding to only one behavior, but with many (256) behavior models corresponding to environmental factors and intrusion type parameters.

Fuzzy Logic Analysis

increases the POD (Probability of Detection)

and at the same time

decrease the FAR (False Alarm Rate)

“NO Compromise with your security !!”

Continuous signal analysis for shape, duration and type of signal determine if the signal disturbance is a factual intrusion or not

SIOUX PRO2 redundancy

Pag. 24

  • The redundancy kit (option) allows you to protect the left and right branches against the cutting of the branch in fact it is sufficient to add at the end of them the dedicated accessory for redundancy (Sioux Redundancy kit) which in total autonomy activates the backup polling which it is normally managed by the Sioux Controller.

  • It is paramount to remember that:If only one branch is used, left or right, redundancy must be installed on the branch in use.If the two branches are used, it is mandatory to install it on both.

The influence of atmospheric events and attenuation on infrared IR frequencies

  • The MW microwave frequencies range from 300 MHz to 300 GHz and for our 10GHz microwaves the wavelength is 3 cm while the 24GHz is 1.25 cm therefore relatively little attenuated by atmospheric events
  • Infrared IR frequencies range from 300 GHz to 400 THz, with a wavelength ranging from 1 mm to 750 nm therefore very small and considerably more attenuated by atmospheric events
