Make sure to open this lesson on the Cobrowser!

To open the Cobrowser in a whiteboard space:

  1. Join your session and switch your video settings to "Video Sidebar"
  2. Open a whiteboard and click the Library tab
  3. Access the Apps panel
  4. Click on Cobrowser
  5. Paste the URL of the website you want to share- this lesson!

Students and tutors can both interact with the Cobrowser by using the toolbar at the top of the whiteboard (mouse, draw tool, highlight tool, etc.)

Introductions!

Tutors and Students, answer these questions about yourself:

  1. What’s your name?
  2. Where do you live?
  3. What are your interests? What do you like to do for fun?
  4. Is there something or someone who is important to you?
  5. Students- are you new to Step Up or did you have a tutor before? If you had a tutor, what did you work on before?

Tutors, you can find the Eedi login information under “Main Lesson” in the session guide.

Next, follow the instructions below to open Eedi with the Cobrowser:

  1. Make sure your video is in Video Sidebar or Floating Video mode.
  2. Click on the Library tab on the top toolbar
  3. Select Apps on the right menu then choose Cobrowser to open it
  4. Type or copy and paste “https://eedi.com
  5. Paste your log in details found under “Main Lesson”
  6. You’re in!
  7. Begin the Starter Quiz and a lesson if time permits. If time does not permit, click Topics, scroll to the bottom, and try out the question of the day!
