My Pocket Chef App Summary
I will be creating an app that could partner with “Every Plate” the well-known meal planning app that sends you ingredients and recipes weekly to prepare for dinner. I want to make these meals easier to cook and add a playful aspect to cooking with fun animations pointing out the ai that will be incorporated in the app. Being able to scan in meals from the recipe cards you receive from “Every Plate”, then getting a full tutorial on what you need to prepare this meal or just skip straight to the cooking steps if you’ve made the meal before. You can earn achievement badges and coupons for cooking a meal. These will be displayed on your personal profile along with any saved recipes. Also incorporated in the app will be a nutrition tracker on the meals you prepare you can even plan your meals ahead of time if you want to,

Technologies & Resources
Future ideas could be to incorporate Bluetooth cooking utensils so that when you need a certain item the app will make a noise on the needed utensil or cooking pot/pan.
Adding a saved library of recipes, you enjoyed cooking or liked eating.
�Getting achievement badges to be displayed on your cooking profile to show just how much of a savvy cook you will become with the help of my app “Pocket-Chef”.
�Adding a fitness portion to this app can be helpful in knowing just how many calories you are consuming and what food groups you are eating. I use “Every Plate” so, I know that it is a bit inconvenient that I must use a separate app to track what I eat. My app will bring cooking “Every Plate” recipes and meal tracking together.

Goals
I chose to create this app because I have been cooking a lot recently and I thought this could be a very helpful app for beginner chefs! I wanted it to be a simple yet fun app that also has a social media aspect to it but very little, just for sharing photos of your meal. The main focus is the camera tutorials you get from the app to help you cook and also your favorite saved recipes for future cooking. This app can be for chefs of all ages and skill level.
