Frequently asked strategy questions.

What is the ideal content split? → You should strive to post a healthy balance of job & employer brand (EB) content. The types of content per persona is most important. A CEO shouldn’t post jobs every day, but strong EB content would perform well on their LI profile. A recruiter should post more job than EB content (70/30 is a good split).

Should we increase our posting frequency to increase engagement? → Only bump up the frequency if you have the content library to back it up. 1-3 job posts per week on a personal LI profile is plenty. The LI feed moves very slow & posts linger longer. You don’t want to come off as spammy. Increase quality over quantity always. Consider how many profiles you are publishing to as well.

How do we compare to other companies? → Each company has a different strategy & a different number of social profiles connected. Each profile has a different size network. It is like comparing apples to oranges. Ask yourself, if you did not have a presence on social media, how many job clicks would you be missing out on?
