The Milestones

  1. Ateneo Signs MOA with TSD
  2. To Form a Joint Working Group - The Ateneo-TSD SCII Hub Working Group
  3. The Working Group will collaborate to develop the detailed plans for a yet to be named SCII Hub.
  4. Ateneo provides space and admin support for the Centers of Higher Performances under the Hub whilst TSD will bring in the programming and initial stakeholders.
  5. Both will look for stakeholders, participants and funding together.
  6. Formal Setting up of a new Unit via Partnerships, Consortium or Joint Venture Agreements
  7. Programme will be jointly run and managed
  8. Possible spinoffs from the programme

About the SCII Hub

  1. Current Designation is the Ateneo-TSD SCII Hub - Ultimately name can be changed.
  2. The SCII Hub is a network of hubs that SCII is building around the world. Our Goal is 3 a year. See full list SCII Hub Placemaking Ecosystem

About Centers of Higher Performances (CoHPs)

  1. Original Term is Centers of Excellence (CoEs) - Ateneo to adopt separate term called Centers of Higher Performances (CoHPs)
  2. CoEs are currently run by a consortium of stakeholders - the SCII Programming Partners.
  3. CoEs are run in various hubs we have set up. E.g. In Singapore, India, Thailand etc
  4. CoHPs and how they are run to be decided upon by the Working Group
  5. Each CoHP can spin-off into separate entities and be run as jointly owned IP with Ateneo and programming partners

  • Overview
    • Managed by Ateneo JGSOM or a A new Entity to manage the fund.
    • Distribution of Funds
      1. 30% of the fund will go to Administration (15% Ateneo, 15% TSD)
      2. 70% will go on to fund the Hub and CoHP Programming
  • What we need funds for
    • Hub and CoE Admin Team
    • Space CAPEX/ OPEX if Any.
    • Project Management and Consultancy (If Any): Professional Fees, as well as Flights, accommodation and living stipends
    • Visiting Professors and Professional Trainers - Payment for their time and/or tenure
    • Projects and General Programming: e.g. DTUX Conference fees for faculty
