To prompt and to sustain;

To comfort, challenge and affirm

All acts that are humane.

When grim disasters come;

Our hearts may break but not our wills;

Our spirits shan’t succumb.

When nature does its worst;

Our gen’rous spirits then begin

To put ‘the other’ first.

To rescue strangers, those unknown;

And grimly face the strife.
