Need: a standard*

  • to collect large amounts of [telemetry] data�efficiently transfer hyperscale data to big storage
  • to structure tiered (multi-layer) aggregators
  • to statistically aggregate measurements,�beyond juxtaposition of datapoints
  • to pivot specific components into a filtered tree, independent of contained systems’ layout
  • to enable 3rd party partial access, filtered out business-sensitive information

Current/future work

  • Gathered the specs, worked on the problem statement
  • Prepared Telemetry Data Sharing Model preposition (document)
  • Pending submission as a white paper to DMTF
  • Define a preposition, based on that document above,�to submit as enhancement to current standard (schema, entities)
  • Work with industry to publish some PoC implementation
