Measurable IEP Goals
MONTH
Day
#
There are four main points looked for by the NH DOE to determine the measurability of an IEP goal.
1) Baseline - use teacher rubric, checklists, NWEA, NECAP, etc.
2) Target - using the baseline as your starting point, where do you want the child to be at the end of the IEP.
3) End Date - Remember that goals do not necessarily end at the end of the IEP. A goal could be for 3 months, 6 months, 9 or 12.
4) Measurement - how it will be measured (specifically what instrument) and how often.
