GOAL 5: Emigration / Immigration

Choice A:

- In Online Resources briefly review each of the bullet points for online immigration records by time period. These record collections are good for learners to explore later.

- Scroll down to Immigration Records and briefly review the information in “Passenger Lists” and “Passports.”

- In Kansas Migration Routes select and show one of the links, such as Great Western Cattle Trail.

- Open the link for “AC: Kansas, U.S., Federal Naturalization Records, 1865-1984” and enter “Lilly Svensson” as the name. Then click View Record to see naturalization details.

- Choose Alabama in the search box and enter “Johnson” as the surname for the search. Then browse one of the land records.
