Vocab Review: Decoding

  • On a piece of scratch paper, combine a prefix and root to make a fake word
    • For example, if you had the prefix “re-” (again) and the root “claudere” (to shut), you could make the word reclude,” which would mean to shut again
      • Be careful that you don’t accidentally make real words (like include”)
  • Make 3 fake words and definitions
