False translator friends or cross-language homonyms are pairs of words or phrases from different languages or dialects that look or sound the same but mean different things.
False friends often make it difficult to learn a language, and cause mistakes in translation. To prevent such mistakes, lists of "false friends" are compiled. Today I want to introduce a few words.
for example, the translation of the word academic is not «академік», but «викладач»
