  • At first, some Jews supported Mohamed

  • But later, they mocked him and told him wrong stories from The Old Testament, so Mohamed called them in The Koran:
  • Monkeys and Pigs
  • Corruptors of God’s words and teachings

  • They eradicate non-believers from the land like Joshua did with Philistines
  • They believe in The Old Testament and The Jewish prophets
  • They pray toward Jerusalem at first as the Jewish do

Islamic Concepts from Christianity

  • Early on The Christians were a people of a Holy and Religious book according to Mohamed and that Islam should treat them nicely and with reason
  • Islam should invite them to join Islam with decency and gentleness

  • However, Mohamed accused Christians of changing The Bible to conceal a prophecy about Mohamed
  • Mohamed plainly stated that the only religion accepted with God is Islam

  • He imposed heavy taxes (Jizhia) on Christians if they refuse to Join Islam just to keep them alive.

  • However, when they came to Egypt , they insulted the Christians, took away their land and imposed strict & humiliating rules to ruin their life
  • They imposed certain dress code on Coptic men and women
  • They prohibit Christians from leading position in the government
  • Some Muslim rulers, prohibited planting grapes so the Christians could not celebrate liturgy

  • God created man to worship Him like the angels and other creatures do

  • Loves man to the end and gave His Only Son up on The Cross to redeem the world/humans
  • God wants you to be the light of the world

God in Islam

  • God is like your boss manager and will punish you once you commit sin
  • God wants you to fight the world and impose your Islamic belief on the others or kill them

Heaven in Christianity

  • It is The Kingdom of God
  • God is The Source of happiness and joy
  • It is filled with angels, saints, and martyrs

Heaven in Islam

  • It is green meadow
  • It is filled with sex (70 virgins) as the source of pleasure for men
  • It has rivers of milk and honey
  • All liquors are allowed
  • There is no mention of God

  • It is God’s concern for the help of men

  • Men must accept the Christian faith and practice the sacramental life

  • It is the job of men
  • Men use animal sacrifices like sheep to execute redemption hoping God will accept it
  • No Christian teachings or sacraments are implemented

The Main Differences

Islam believes:

  • Jesus Christ is another prophet and not The Son of God
  • Jesus Christ was not crucified
  • Christians worship The Cross
  • The only accepted religion with God is Islam
  • Jesus prophesized about a final prophet named “Ahmed”
  • Christians changed The Bible to conceal a prophecy about Mohamed
  • They must convert all humans to Islam - either by peace or by force

Islam acknowledges Christianity as a religion from God, but why should Christians not acknowledge them?

  • Christians should NOT believe in Islam as Jesus Christ was Crucified, Redemption was completed, and The Paradise has opened
  • All we must do is believe in Jesus Christ as Our Savior, practice the sacraments, and do good deeds to be worthy of entering The Kingdom of Heaven

  • Jesus’ last words were, “It is finished” (John 19:30)
  • There is no need for another prophet to teach humans about God or what is bad or good
