MAIN OBJECTIVES

Creating a digital distributed system for certification and verification:

educational activities,
degrees,
skills in the field of higher education and lifelong learning, creating an inviolable educational passport (wallet).

The provision of an individual, inviolable and therefore unaltered educational passport, which will be based on blockchain technology. Degrees and learning outcomes will be certified without the possibility of falsification.
The implementation of pilots and the validation of the operation of the proposed technological solution in real conditions.

KEY FEATURES

Uses advanced tools of blockchain technology to ensure the required degree of trust both at user level and at institutional level
Extends the logic of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), which it adapts and applies to educational scenarios
Integrates learning analytics and gamification for the automatic interconnection of learning metrics with the evaluation of hard skills and soft skills of students

DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGY

The users of the system will be certified by digital certificates and will have digital signatures.
The tokens that will be in the system, with the use of smart contracts and if the learning objectives that have been set in advance are met, will be transferred to the personal accounts (wallets) of the students.
Students will be able to prove to third parties (such as other institutions, agencies or companies) the degree of their involvement in each educational activity, in order to assess the knowledge and skills they have acquired in specific subjects and are a prerequisite for their introduction to attend future courses / seminars or to be hired.

DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGY

Institutions and companies, depending on their permisions, will be able to either register diplomas and certificates of the students, or only to verify them.
Additional tokens that a student has obtained and that have not been translated into ECTS credits for a degree will remain in their account as proof of their achievements in the respective activities and subjects, increasing their "reputation".
