Thoughts for consideration

  • Leaderboard:
    • Can potentially create healthy competition within group members; but may discourage users who have achieved less.
      • Consider having reminder functions for users to complete tasks?
  • Visualizing gaps and strengths:
    • Might be helpful to have a matrix to show what categories of actions (e.g., advocacy; investment; family) they’ve taken the most vs. categories they rarely touch as a collective
    • Depends on goals of the groups - may not apply if the group is strongly focused on one goal (e.g., a group that dedicated to promote vegan diet)
  • Group admin vs. members:
    • Most functions are restricted to admin. Would expanding access to members make them more engaged with the group?
  • Ensuring Clarity of Functionality
    • Users should clearly understand what buttons do (i.e., cheers and taunts) as well as actions needed to progress in a process. This can be covered in onboarding documentation.
  • Levels of Privacy
    • Some users may want to share contributions anonymously for privacy or out of fear they are not doing enough.

Will gather more info from user interviews
