234 deaths from coward punches have occurred in Australia between 1990 and 2020. Every one of these was preventable.

  • Young men are often involved in coward punch incidents either as a victim or a perpetrator.
  • A majority of coward punches result in death or permanent injury. The effects of coward punches are irreversible.
