Accessing NFA Local Scholarships
Go to the district webpage
Click schools then select Newburgh
Free
Academy
Click Guidance
followed by
Scholarships
Click Access Scholarship System
Click Access Profile Creator
Enter student and family information
Answer all of the questions to the best of your ability
Include all community service activities since middle school and your employment history including current jobs
Enter all of your high school extracurricular activities
and list three references.
Be sure to save your profile
Click Access Scholarship List to view active local scholarships in the system
Enter your last name and student ID number to access the scholarship list
Review each scholarship criteria, description, and required essay.
Check off all scholarships that you fit the criteria for.
Most require an essay response to the same essay prompt
A select few require an essay response to a different essay prompt.
Be sure to click save list of selected scholarships
Click Write Your Essays
Every scholarship you selected will be listed along with the essay prompt required.
Be sure to write your essays in google docs and copy/paste the final version here. Then click submit
