Using Labels and Badges in Creative Ways.

If your students are 1:1 with devices, use a label to identify the computer as well as give easy access for badge scanning while they are working.

Use a QR sticker on a student’s folder or agenda for easy access to give points when they turn in homework and assignments.

Have ID on student’s desks for easy scanning as you walk by, have group QR code posted inside or outside the classroom for easy access for others.

The Advance Referral System (ARS)

The ARS or Advanced Referral System is the only additional add-on for PBIS Rewards.
This system is fully customizable and available in the web portal and on the PBIS Rewards app.
Let’s head to the web portal first to see how it all works.

Select “Settings” and add 20 in each category, if needed

Rename major/minor referrals

Select types of referrals for staff* Enable minor referral notify #

If select ‘minors only’ – they will have Major as an option but only if Minors are rolled into a Major referral

Can archive referrals (maybe at semester) if school wants to start w clean slate

Go through writing a Major and Minor referral

Show click that will email admin. After specific number of minor referrals.

Give time to play in this system – from the referral page (or they could use group page)
