You are going to create an underwater world using your knowledge of how to draw, how to use media, how to be creative AND introducing how to create the illusion of space.

To begin:

  • Think about what you’d like to include--will this be an imaginary underwater world?
  • Find reference photos to use for your drawings
  • Decide what media might be best for what you are creating
  • Sketch out your ideas on sketch paper

  • Be sure to use placement on the paper, size, and overlap to create a sense of space
