Backstory

• Sandie has two voices in his head.
• Johnny Silverhand: the anti corpo
• The director board of Evil Group Brain Dance Studios (Chat) an evil advertising company
• Sandie has a Braindance (BD) chip equipped. Evil Group is making brain dances out of his experiences, and for that they need GUEST DIRECTORS (GD)
• Obviously, Evil Group Brain Dance Studios ONLY hires the BEST (or wors) directors for their advertisments.
• The Board of Directors are free to comment/give feed back in real time on the episodes as they are filming them. After all that is why they chipped in Sandy’s head, HOWEVER:
• They can NOT overrule a GD
• They can NOT give spoilers

What is an episode?

• Each GD gets to direct an episode.
• The length of an episode differs.
• A questline that spans multiple quests is ONE episode.
• A quest that is a single one is one episode.
• A gig is one episode.
• Just cruising around the City causing mayhem is one episode.
• One stream can have one or more episodes in it, and an episode (for longer questlines EG. Sinnerman/I Fought the Law etc.) can span for multiple (not always consecutive) streams (the maximum limit for now is 5 streams).

What can the directors do?

• (Almost) full control.
• Examples:
• Pick the genre (eg.: spaghetti western, sci-fi, detective noir, slasher horror, RomCom etc.)
• Design the costume, aka what would Sandie wear.
• What to look at?
• Advertisments and product placement.
• Drink a NiCola drink
• Say a certain line (eg. „So good it’s evil”)
• IMPORTANT!!! For copyright reasons make sure the product is NOT a real life product.
• The director board of Evil Group Brain Dance Studios (Chat)
• Choose weapons.
• Decide what to level up
• How much fore knowledge does Sandie have?
• They can give spoilers. => The board of directors (Chat) CAN NOT give spoilers still.
• How much control they want over an episode?
• Minimal control (eg. Give a few pointers more improvisation involved) vs. Total control. Anything inbetween goes.
• Mimic a fellow director’s style (eg. David Lynch, Tarantino, Nolan etc.)
• You don’t need to even pick a quest/side quest/gig to direct something. You can just pick a place in the city and make your own little scene (eg. „Pitch Evil Group Brain Dance Studios to the Tigerclaws around JigJig street, in a seductive tone”) and see what happens then.

How where and how to apply?

• There is NO time limit on applications.
• We do not have a set amount of people who can apply.
• Please keep the application one episode per person for now.
• Multiple people can apply together (in that case, only one person should apply, and add the name of their co-director in the application form).
• Chosen GDs will be notified in advance (a week or so), so they have time�to prepare.If they can not make the stream for some reason they�should let us know.
• Please note that applying doesn’t guarantee you will be selected�for directing. In the beggining we will prioritze applicants with�whom we've worked with previously.
• All final decisions are made by Logan.
• We ARE going to play Phantom Liberty too, so keep that in mind.
