Dear friends, today we will chat a bit about instruments, music genres, and a little bit of everything! Everyone likes good music and what better way for us to connect then to share our taste for music?

Dialogue Skit 01 - Music Shop

• Hello, sir.
• Good evening, madame.
• I would like to buy a guitar.
• Would you like an electric guitar or an acoustic?
• I’m not sure, I was thinking of buying an electric one. I’m really into classical rock.
• Awesome. Let’s check some out then.
• I really like that red and white one over there!

• Oh, this one?
• Yep, that one. Is it good quality?
• Actually, it’s an excellent guitar. It was handcrafted by Steve Rogers, a well known luthier in the music community of Southern Georgia.
• Seems great to me, does it come with the strings?
• Actually, yes it does. And with an extra set of strings in a padded and waterproof case.
• All right, I think this one’s it!

Dialogue Skit 02 - Concert Date Night

• Well don’t you look lovely tonight?
• I could say the same about you, handsome.
• Did you get the tickets?
• Oh, of course I did. They’re in my purse.
• Good thing you remembered, last time we forgot, right?
• Oh, yeah. That was dreadful! I remember we had to drive back to your house and once we were back we sat at the back of the theater.

• Well, good time this time we’ll have the front seats to the best summer concert in New York City!
• And let’s not forget this time it’ll be outdoors in our stunning Central Park.
• I brought homemade chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate!
• A chef and a gentleman, what more could a lady ask for?
• A night with you, darling.

Dialogue Skit 03- Spotify and University Life

• Hey, Mindy! Did you know Spotify’s app now has a discount for university students?
• Oh yeah, I found out about a week ago and forgot to tell you. You just have to login with the University’s wifi and you’re good to go.
• Exactly, do you use Spotify on a day-to-day basis or just occasionally? You seem so busy sometimes.
• Oh, all the time. I have playlists for almost everything! Just to give you an idea, I have a playlist for: showers , yoga, studying and even for cooking!

• Well that’s a surprise. You must have tracks from different genres right? Jazz, pop, electronic music?
• Totally! And don’t forget Vivaldi, I really love classical music.
• Which album is your favorite?
• I don't think I have only one, I guess I’m just generally more into playlists.
• Cool, I guess me too. Music always transcends our expectations, it’s good to know we appreciate it and that it’s becoming more accessible.
