ABOUT

The Automotive Program at Lake Area Career and Technology Center is designed to help students learn the basic automotive principles of the Maintenance and Light Vehicle Repair standards established by the CTE and National Automotive Service Excellence organizations. The curriculum that is taught is from the Auto Upkeep material that is presented online for easier student access while in school or while at home. This program is not just for students that like working on cars. This program is for any student who would like to know more about the vehicle they drive and also about what maintenance needs to be done to keep their vehicle running.
