ABELA Internship Program: BOLT!

For High School Students & Undergraduates

• Lab Work:
• Saturday Workdays at PBC or Pierce College, involve preparing ABE materials and reagents.

• Outreach & Social Media:
• These events involve representing the ABE program to the public. Interns may help educate the public about biotechnology, recruit future interns, and demonstrate lab experiments to younger audiences in a fun, engaging way.

​

• Lab Technician Support
• Interns will work alongside professionals to set up and take down lab demonstrations and provide technical assistance during ABE’s teacher training sessions. You’ll be working behind the scenes to help ensure a smooth and supportive training environment for educators new to the ABE program.
