Harnesses technology to replicate on a national scale, the model of integral education followed at the Sai schools and university, combining values-based education with academic excellence.

This is our unique 7 assets methodology.
IQ sets the tone for the topic as it makes the child curious
Main Script is the core concept, but instead of a boring textual way it is presented as Graphic Organisers and Videos.
Day to Day Relevance rivets the interest of the child to the topic as the child knows that what she is learning is related to her surrounding and daily life.
Suggested Activities are specifically for the kinaesthetic children so that they learn by doing. It provides an immersive environment
Interesting Asides are attention grabbers that make the child want to know more.
Value Content is the unique offering from SSSVV. Every chapter has one universal human value, which is a constitutional value seamlessly integrated with the concept.

Over the years SSSVV has established its credibility with various Government bodies as well.

With Government of India – Education Department, we have signed a MoU to develop the framework and content for Inclusive Education.
The MoU with NCERT-CIET enables SSSVV to offer all its classroom content for CBSE/NCERT on PM’s VidyaDaan/Diksha platform.
Hearing about the good work done by SSSVV, NITI Aayog has requested SSSVV to implement Basic Literacy progarmme in 2 aspiring districts, viz., Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu and Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh
SSSVV’s Phone Your Friend programme is now covering the Adi Dravidar Welfare Board schools of Tamil Nadu Govt.
Similar to the MoU with NCERT, the DSERT MoU has enabled all classroom content created by SSSVV for Karnataka Board to be made available on VidyaDaan/Diksha

Let us quickly see the programme implementation of SOPAAN in Virudhunagar district.

As seen in the previous slide, the SOPAAN programme functions as a bridge, a ladder to ensure that students reach the expected level of fluency in literacy. The SOPAAN programme is a bilingual programme – In TN it is offered in English and Tamil and in MP it will be offered in English and Hindi. SOPAAN caters to all the 4 types of learners, viz., Auditory, Visual, Kinaesthetic and Tactile. Generally, classrooms focus only on Auditory and to some extend on Visual learners and largely ignores children who learn by moving around (kinaesthetic) and children who learn by touch and feel (tactile).

In Virudhunagar, the SSSVV SOPAAN team trained 28 Master Trainers and 224 teachers. The 91 schools cover 5,000+ students and just before Covid started nearly 2,700 students were assessed for their learning. Post covid, in the months of December 2021 and January 2022 the Team again visited all the 91 schools and completed a baseline assessment that was necessitated due to Covid induced school closure.

In August 2022, the SOPAAN programme will also be taken to the Adi Dravidar Welfare Schools in Chennai and Madurai on a pilot basis.
