Katherine Sikes- Pre K
My name is Katherine Sikes. I am a lifelong Edmond resident. I graduated from Edmond North- go Huskies! I am lucky enough to live near all of my family, 2 sisters and brother. My husband, Jon and daughter, Lily and I enjoy walking the dogs, community races, involvement with church, dinners with family, and spending time cuddling up for a good movie!
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Oklahoma. This is my 15th year teaching. I have been given opportunities to teach 2nd grade, 1st grade, Kindergarten, and land in my FAVORITE- PRE K!
I enjoy connecting with our neighbors through intergenerational projects with residents at Epworth Villa. After school I am involved in a program dear to my heart called Girls on the Run. I help coach 3rd-5th grade girls to challenge their bodies to run a 5k race. Scissortail has become my school family and I am PROUD to be a Scissortail Flyer!
