AJT REGRANTING PROGRAM 2024

WHAT IS THE REGRANTING PROGRAM?

-Grants are available up to $1,000 for new and innovative Jewish theatre projects or endeavors led by Current AJT Members.

-Projects occurring from April 2024- December 15^th of 2024.

-The nature of the project deepens the artist’s craft, career opportunities, and/ or community engagement.

-Relates and connects to AJT’s Mission of Promoting & Preserving Jewish Theatre.

WHO IS THIS GRANT FOR? WHO CAN APPLY?

• Current AJT Members
• Individual artists or Member Theatres
• Playwrights, directors, producers, actors- all disciplines welcome!

2024 GRANT TIMELINE

• Granting Q&A: February 20^th, 2024
• Application Opens: March 1st, 2024
• Application Deadline: March 25th, midnight EST
• Applicants Notified: No later than April 15^th.
• Evaluations Due: December 1^st or if project concludes after the 1^st, December 15^th.

• What are you hoping to achieve in the next steps? How will you use the funds to achieve those goals?

Revenue and Expenses: In this Budget include Revenue and Expenses. You will identify sources of revenue and the specific expenses related to the opportunity. You are welcome to use the form below.

REVIEW & SELECTION�

• A committee of peers will be reviewing and selecting applications for awards. The criteria for selection is Career Impact and Budget.

Career Impact:

• Clear definition of opportunity and why now it is beneficial.
• Timeliness of opportunity (in terms of needing to take advantage now).
• Appropriateness of opportunity in relation to the artist’s career goals.

Budget:

• Appropriateness of the budget for activities associated with the opportunity.
