Role of a Teacher in Physical development (PE) of a Child
-Teacher should know PE of a each stage of childhood
-Encourage participation in all PE activities – running, moving, cutting with scissors, painting, assembling etc..
-Use active learning experience
-Practice activities > cutting, pasting, tracing which helps in strengthening of muscles etc..
-Help students during work as they can be messy during craft/art
-Accept messy work if it is the best effort
- Use of pencil grips
For Students from 9 to 11 Years
-Frequent use of Computer
-Role Play
-adopting tasks according to the child’s requirements & ability (time, skill level, method amount)
-Give the students short & simple directions to do their best ability
-Allowing students with some physical development issues to print their work or project work
-Avoid competition between girls & boys as between the age of 9 to 11 Years as girls are more physically mature than boys at this age
