Syvin Aelen
Personality:
Syvin has a hard time making long term and strong relationships. She has a kindness to her but the walls that she builds over the years has made it that she has a hard time trusting people. Deep down she wants to be loved and have a family again. She knows what is needed to survive and will do everything to do so, but she also has morals and won’t do anything out of selfish reasons. She carefully weights her decisions and picks the option that benefits most.
Backstory:
Syvin is born as an Esoti, a creature of the night that are humans who are blessed under the light of a blue moon. They hold the power of the stars and have a morphed body that can use Celestial arcana. Her whole life, Syvin had to hide who she was because her parents were scared it would draw wrong attention and because they didn’t know what she was. As years went on, she and her parents had grown dethatched. Her parents distanced themselves of her while raising her because she was different, and they didn’t know what the powers could turn into.
Syvin Aelen
As Syvin turned of age, wealth wasn’t on her family’s side. Her parents had decided that her uniqueness could be an opportunity to find wealth by planning to present her to a noble man. Syvin refused to participate in the plan and ran away soon after.
Since then, she’s been living on her own. She used her upbringing to blend into her advantage and started stealing from wealthy people. She never stole more than they could miss, or she would need and only stole money.

Xerlynn Lodie

Equipment & Spells: Special Umbrella, Durability Amplification
Additional Information: Has a Lowrider, a magical umbrella
Xerlynn Lodie
Personality: Xerlynn is an apathetic woman. She’s often aloof and alone. Her years of driving the roads with little company have made her inept at simple social interactions. At times, she can be too cocky for her own good and often too stubborn. Xerlynn can be very cynical at times and come off as cold-hearted. She will stab her umbrella in the ground to focus on a conversation if it’s serious. Though she’s not all cold, she has a weak spot for being challenged. Her other weak spot is for sweet potatoes and steak.
Xerlynn Lodie
Backstory Short Version: Xerlynn was found as a baby in the wilderness, near the no man’s land. A wandering traveller who drove a convertible lowrider found her crying in the wilderness. They took her in and decided to care for her as they drove to the nearest town to get supplies and food. They also were worried if the baby was unhealthy, so they took her to the town’s doctor. Luckily, they seemed to be in perfect health. So, the traveller took her in and raised her like a daughter.

Xerlynn Lodie
Backstory: Xerlynn and her guardian, Lopite, traveled together for about fourteen years. Nothing too substantial happened, other than a few interactions that helped shaped Xerlynn growing up. A few attempts to steal her umbrella made her always keep it close. The constant shift in her environment made her adapt and put less emphasis on her non-existent social life. Though, she never took the offer to stay in one village no matter how much she seemed to like it. The next big event in her life was when she was fourteen. Xerlynn had been practicing with Lopite’s lowrider for a while and knew how to drive it. Sadly, he said he wouldn’t let her drive for more than an hour and not at all if they were in town.
But after that day, Lopite did not drive with her anymore. And with a heavy heart, she started driving out of the town, leaving Lopite behind. She was determined to figure out why a dragon chose her. There was another thing she was after, and that was who started dragon cultists. That group of scum owed her answers at the very least.
Neji ~ @ethereal
Age: 19Species: Technological Dragon HumanoidGender: Agender They/ThemTech: 55 (+15)Wings: 40Magic: 0Powerscale: 333
Neji
Skills: Agility, hiding, flight, scavenging, preparing meals Special Skill: Spitting acidDescription: Tan skin, lots of bumps, scars and scabs. Mole on back of left shoulder. When rough skin is activated, skin appears scaly, singed, and coppery. Malnourished and lanky with bones jutting out. Roughly five feet tall. Perpetually sweaty. Long auburn hair tied in two braided loops. Small black eyes, large, flat nose. Large, chapped lips. Jagged ears with small pieces missing. Almost always smiling. Yellow-ish pointy teeth, one tooth missing. Dressed in oversized, scrappy clothing. Often wearing a self-made gas mask-penny colored with metal bunny ears attached to the top.
Equipment & Spell:
Neji
Personality: Neji isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer, though they just might be the happiest. Neji is never seen without a loopy smile on their face and a positive attitude to match. They are definitely an optimist and always try to make the best of any situation they are in. However, no one is really always happy. And Neji has plenty to be downcast and upset about. However, they never let anyone see them unhappy or upset and bottle up their true feelings. Neji is extremely gullible and believes anything, always wanting to see the best in other people and their offerings. They also laugh at any joke, even a painfully unfunny one. Thanks to the implants, their laugh is extremely wheezey and hard on the ears. Neji has a strong moral compass and would never steal or try to hurt someone. They always use their powers as a last resort, they would prefer not to use them for self defense. They’re skittish and scared by everything-especially plants. They have an irrational fear and anger towards plants and like to step on them, kick them, or pluck them. However, they adore animals, especially rabbits, even though they haven’t seen one.
Neji
Personality: Neji is always hungry and can always make a tasty meal even out of scraps or rotten food. They are extremely food-motivated. They love new things, and have a passion for all things dragon-related. This is partly a guise for their powers, but they really are fascinated by them. They also lie. A lot. Neji is easily distracted and lost. However, they do have an amazing memory.
Backstory: Neji, unnamed when they were born, were abandoned right away. Their mother could not afford an abortion, so after giving birth, the baby was hidden under some scraps to die. Fortunately, they were heard and found by a large group of orphans, all children varying in ages. The eldest had assumed the positions of the leaders, and all of them took Neji in and raised them, eventually giving them their name, which was found on a torn-out page of a manga book. Outer Algereh was the most impoverished area of Algereh, and food was always hard to come by, leaving Neji terribly malnourished. Though their face is round, their cheeks are hollowed and their eyes are sunken. They are also very vulnerable to illnesses, and often got sick due to rotten and rancid food. It’s definitely a miracle they’ve lived this long, but Neji’s always found themselves to have impeccable luck.
Neji
Backstory: To protect themselves, Neji fashioned themselves a gas mask-well, they found a battered gas mask and added their personal touch (the bunny ears and extra pipes). They always loved animals, especially rabbits, even though they’d never seen a real, living rabbit. They imagined people in the center of Algerah might own one, but their eyes had yet to gaze upon anywhere but the outer parts. As they got older, they were expected to do more than just scavenge for toys to add to their growing collection. They were expected to walk into more populated areas and beg for food. Soon, that was all they were allowed to do-wake up at the crack of dawn and beg. If they ever tried to do anything else, they were guilt-tripped-these people saved them from dying, now it was their turn to collect food and money to help everyone else.
When Neji was eighteen, they were no longer allowed to be part of the group. They had to beg for themself now. Neji didn’t mind, actually, this allowed them more time to do what they liked-collect interesting and shiny parts, add to their pint-sized hut… Their hut was incredibly tiny and purposefully had no roof so they could watch the sky.
Neji
Backstory: Not that there was much to look at, but for some reason they found it entertaining. Despite always having next to nothing, Neji was always too moral to resort to stealing. They always earned things honestly, though they’re not too good at sharing. They always seemed optimistic about their situation, though it wasn’t like they didn’t know how poor they were. They were always looking for ways to get more money, but never dreamt too much-they realized they’d probably never have a gorgeous car, clothes that actually fit, or cake for their birthday. Until they heard whispers amongst their fellow beggars. A lab in the capital was looking for experiment subjects and offered a hefty reward. More money than Neji had ever possessed in their entire life! They didn’t even consider how odd it was that they only wanted beggars, not healthy, wealthy people that were close to the city. (So even if one of them tried to reveal the secret, no one would believe them anyways). It took a lot of pestering, but eventually Neji was chosen as one of the subjects. If this worked, Neji would be one of the first-or the only humans with dragon tech implants. The process was long and painful, but Neji was excited. Not only did they get to witness the inner city, filled with inventions and technology they didn’t even know existed, they basically got powers (or, at least that’s how they saw it).
Neji
Backstory: When the process was complete, Neji had implants in both of their arms, legs, back, and throat. Not only could they grow rough, scaly skin and wings, they could spit streams of sizzling acid from their mouth. The acid only became acidic when touching a dry suface so their mouth didn’t get burned. Some would say this didn’t do much to help their appearance, as they now had scarred skin and chapped lips. Even though it was a success, it looked more like botched plastic surgery. But Neji thought it looked cool. They sort of figured they no longer needed to go back to the capital now that the experiment was done. Now they could return to normal, right? Now the just needed their payment. But just like Neji never came back to the capital, the money never came to them. They were still a beggar, just a beggar with dragon attributes. Disappointed and feeling scammed, Neji continued to beg for money on the streets. Little did they know, people were looking for them. Some wanted to capture them and experiment further, some wanted them dead. Luckily, someone living on the outskirts, who hid their face most of the time and lived in a pile of scraps was pretty difficult to find.
Brian Acacia
Skills: Camouflaging, Cartography, Irration, and Miss LeadingSpecial Skill: Toxic Burps
Desc: In Brian’s “normal” form he’s about 9 foot, with two grand horns like a moose’s with rough dark “skin”, but it’s hard to see through all the moss growing on his body, with pinecones intertwining with soft seaweed like strands weaving down as hair and and a beard.
Equipment/Spells: two metal pots, three shoelaces
Additional Information: umm… He might kidnap you if you have a sob story
Brian Acacia
Personality: Leshy, also known as Brian, as his “friends” began to refer to him, is masculine and humanoid in appearance, yet he can take on any appearance and alter in size and height in high-stress situations. He’s a little rusty on that skill, as he hasn’t used it in a long time. (Only now being able to take form as insects or one human form). Some say he has a proclivity for leading people of all kinds astray and kidnapping children, which leads some to conclude he is a nefarious being. He is also known to have a more neutral attitude about most kinds, depending on an individual’s or a local population’s views and behaviors toward the forest. Brian has abducted youngsters who have been cursed by their relatives (especially their parents) and taken them to the forest people. As a result, some people think of him as more of a mercurial being, similar to a fairy. Brian is a Leshy of few words, so when spoken to by him, listen.
Brian Acacia
Backstory: Brian grew most of his seedling years in a forest he can no longer distinctly identify. Abruptly moving in his early teen years to Illigia, never really why. His parents had soon left him, but he didn’t notice the difference. They were usually doing there own thing, as was he usually. That’s about the time he learned he could take on new forms, leading him to experiment with more and more forms each passing day. One day, in a form he’d been using regularly boy thinks him asking if they could speak alone. He immediately agreed, so they went to a secluded part of the woods. The boy confessed his love to Brian, making his brain overload. Brian hadn’t heard of anyone vocalizing their love to to him ever. In panic, he transformed back into his Leshy form, letting the boy admire and stand in awe. What came next, was most definitely out of character and will always haunt Brian. He burped, knocking the kid unconscious from toxic gasses that escaped him. He then, proceeded to drag him in town then flee. He’d heard whispers on the street that the boy nearly died, but had lived. From that day forward, he lived in the shadows, nor speaking. Until, one day he decided to move from town and become a “wonderer” (as he calls it) and not have a home nor destination.

He is also is always trying to find enjoyment in things. Overtime Fiirum has grown impulsive and somewhat dense. He likely could deceive himself if he tried. Gwenyth Audrey Drystan ~ @Bluecookies
Age: 19Species: Tribrid (Human, Elf, Dragon)Gender & Pronouns: Female She/Her
Affinity
Archery: 40 (+10)
Magic: 60 (+15)
Power-scale: 500 (+10)
Gwenyth Audrey Drystan
Skills: Tracking, Cooking, Flying (dragon wings)Special Skill (Unique to the character): Gwenyth can turn into a full dragon like her mother but unlike her, she can also choose to retain her humanoid form and express her specific dragon traits (Wings, tail, dragonhide scales, etc) for an edge in combat.
Equipment/Spells: Draconic Fist, Arcana Claw, Elven Sense, Leaf Step, Duality of Man, Lesser Fusion, Illusory Dragon
Desc: Gwenyth is what some might call ‘extremely attractive’ and others an ‘abomination’, she is a brunette with blue eyes, and a shade between white and fair skin. She is 5" 9’ and is usually found wearing a hat or hooded cloak to cover her elven ears and anything with sleeves to cover her arms.

Gwenyth Audrey Drystan
Additional Information: Gwenyth can easily pass as human if she hides her ears, she shows no indication of being dragonborn with a few exceptions. Instead of ‘goosebumps’ going down her back or on her arms, scales will go down her back and on her arms (exactly like Mystique from X-Men but with small scales instead of small feathers.) They’ll linger for a second before disappearing. (See summary marked example)Another hint to her dragonborn nature is the fact that, on occasion, Gwyneth can sneeze fire.Gwenyth’s elvish middle name roughly translates to Audrey in Common (inspired by English) and means “noble and strong”Gwenyth is very intelligent with the combined intellect capacity from all three species’. This means that from a young age she had the mental capacity to learn three different languages Common, Elvish, and Draconic growing up, and is fluent now.Although Gwenyth goes by She/Her, people who are aware of her heritage call her It/That as they view her as an abomination of a species that doesn’t deserve to exist

Gwenyth Audrey Drystan
Personality: Gwenyth’s personality, like her genetics, is an unusual combination of traits often found between the three species. As one part human, Gwenyth can be more emotional and indecisive as a turbulent sea, however, she is also understanding and when the going gets tough, will put aside differences and work with those around her to fight. Despite being only part human, she is indeed an embodiment of human resilience and determination. As part elf, Gwenyth is more often amused than actually excited, and more likely to be curious than greedy. This ‘side’ of her, encourages diplomacy rather than mindless violence, however, if the need arises she will lift up her bow and join the fight head-on, rather than fighting from the shadows or safety of the woods. As part Dragon, Gwenyth, while not greedy as mentioned before, certainly wouldn’t shy away from ‘treasure’, whether it be gold, other precious metal, or just nice things in general. She is loyal and fierce, to a fault, and when alone she is extremely proud to be a dragon. When among others, she’s ashamed of her existence and heritage, she hates how her own species’ want nothing to do with her and feels so alienated.
Gwenyth Audrey Drystan
This will cause her to hide her dragon traits (although some can’t be hidden), and hide her elven ears with a hat or scarf as well as her long hair.
Backstory: Once upon a time there was a goatish, drunk bard who saw the most beautiful High Elf he’d ever seen, and of course he just couldn’t keep it in his pants and turned on the patented Bard charm, well she got pregnant, nine months later a human/high elf hybrid was born. Many years had passed and said hybrid had grown into a strong, handsome, adventurer. One day while in a tavern, passing through, he heard talk of a party being formed to go hunt a dragon that lived in a cave nearby and was believed to be responsible for the destruction of the local village. The hybrid, looking for another adventure decides to join. When they arrive, the party begins to fight the dragon. The hybrid, seemingly more intelligent than the rest, noticed that the dragon wasn’t fighting back.

Gwenyth Audrey Drystan
If anything, it seemed to be using mostly defensive tactics and the offensive ones were more about pushing them back with gusts of wind from its wings or striking the ground in front of them with its tail as opposed to actually hitting them like the dragon that attacked the village would. The hybrid jumped in between the party and the dragon. He explained this and after the clear presentation of evidence, the party decided to go find the real culprit, much to the dismay of the barbarian. As the Hybrid gathered his equipment and was about to leave, he had heard a faint feminine voice call out. He turned and there he saw the most beautiful humanoid woman he had ever laid eyes on, fearing of actually angering the dragon, he asked if she had anywhere to go and be safe. The woman had smiled softly and replied that this was her home. Only then did the hybrid realize that there wasn’t a dragon at all, at least not really. It was a dragonborn woman who could become a full dragon. He had decided to leave her in peace when she asked in the softest voice to stay. Many years had passed and the pair eventually got married and the dragonborn woman…had a child.

Gwenyth Audrey Drystan
So, pregnancy…weird things have been known to happen both during and after. Cravings, weight gain, etc.
Welp…call me a pessimist because I just ain’t seeing magical pregnancies being any different. That being said almost immediately after giving birth her mother decides to go full dragon and stretch her wings because 9 months without being allowed to do to so has got her wanting to fly for a while. Well upon coming back the elder dragons decide to come and pay respects to the newborn only to see that her mother is a full dragon and think she did it like that because you can’t change during that 9 months, no matter how strong they were or whether they were dragonborn or full dragon at the time, plus they also think it’s convenient that she suddenly can’t change back to her dragonborn form. Of course to the dragon race that’s frowned upon for very obvious reasons and decide to shun the family out as punishment, but not before giving the child the Draconic last name Drystan meaning “sorrow”.
