เทศกาลลอยกระทงเป็นวันที่จัดเฉลิมฉลองกันในทุก ๆ ปีในประเทศไทย ตรงกับวันพระจันทร์เต็มดวง (วันขึ้น 15 ค่ำ) ของเดือนพฤศจิกายน นักเรียนสามารถเข้าร่วมเทศกาลนี้ได้ตามสถานที่ที่มีบ่อน้ำ คลอง หรือแม่น้ำ เทศาลนี้มักจะผู้คนเยอะเป็นพิเศษแต่ก็จะมีการแสดงดนตรีสดและอาหารริมทางอร่อย ๆ มากมาย
กระทงมักทำมาจากวัสดุธรรมชาติ เช่น ลำต้นของกล้วยและมาตกแต่งด้วยใบตอง ดอกไม้ เทียน และธูป กระทงจะนำไปลอยตามแหล่งเส้นทางน้ำเพื่อเป็นการแสดงความเคารพต่อพระแม่คงคาและเป็นการลบล้างสิ่งไม่ดีออกไป
ที่โรงเรียนยังมีการแข่งขันประกวดกระทงซึ่งนักเรียนในแต่ละห้องจะช่วยกันออกแบบกระทงด้วยกันเพื่อเข้าประกวด อีกทั้งยังมีประกวดนางนพมาศซึ่งถือเป็นธรรมเนียมของเทศกาลนี้ด้วย
