Attendance

  • Tardy Bell at 7:45 AM
  • Absence is marked if arriving after 8:50 AM
  • Send excuse note within 2 days for office approval

  • Drop off/Pick up
    • Back parking lot is ONLY place for drop off & pick up
    • Students are tardy after 7:45 & must be signed in by a parent
    • BEFORE 2:30PM please notify the office for any student transportation changes
    • Students cannot be signed out of the office after 2:30PM
    • Bus assignments are still being decided, check back on Mon. during Meet the Teacher.

Report Card- Citizenship

  • Daily conduct (Behavior Calendar) will be reflected on the report card in homeroom. At the end of each 9 weeks, the number of discipline signatures will be totaled for each student.
    • Excellent = 0-3 discipline notes
    • Satisfactory = 4-6 discipline notes
    • Needs Improvement = 7-10 discipline notes
    • Unsatisfactory = 11+ discipline notes

  • If a student is sent to the office for a severe offense, such as fighting, it is an office referral, they can receive an automatic U for the 9 weeks.

OFI

What is it?

    • OFIs or ‘Opportunity for Improvement’ are behavioral incidents that occur during the school day that do not warrant a referral and meeting with an administrator, but do need to be addressed and improved.
    • For example, a choice or decision to do something inappropriate that they know (or have been told) is not the right one, but they made it anyway.
    • These incidents are documented to keep parents informed and reinforce positive behaviors.
