Abby Love’s Riley Story

When I was born, I was really sick!�

I was at Riley Hospital and this whole bed was for me!

The staff are awesome!�This is one of my nurses!

I had heart surgery when I was 2 ½ months old. Dr. Brown made my heart all better!

I was on a lot of medicines and hooked up to a lot of machines!

I finally got to come home for the first time when I was almost 4 months old. I still had tubes, machines, and stuff.

I was back at Riley many times when I was sick or needed surgery!

The staff at Riley helped me grow and get bigger.

Finally, I got to go to Camp Riley at Bradford Woods when I turned 9!

We did a lot of fun things

I made a lot of special friends at camp

I have had 23 surgeries!�I have 19 diagnosis!�I see 11 doctors even still!

I didn’t always like what they had to do, but…

they always took great care of me �so I could go home!

Some people call me �special or�complex or �a diagnosis!�
