و كان بعد مدة في ايام حصاد الحنطة ان شمشون افتقد امراته بجدي معزى و قال ادخل الى امراتي الى حجرتها و لكن اباها لم يدعه ان يدخل. و قال ابوها اني قلت انك قد كرهتها فاعطيتها لصاحبك اليست اختها الصغيرة احسن منها فلتكن لك عوضا عنها. فقال لهم شمشون اني بريء الان من الفلسطينيين اذا عملت بهم شرا.
After a while, in the time of wheat harvest, it happened that Samson visited his wife with a young goat. And he said, "Let me go in to my wife, into [her] room" But her father would not permit him to go in. Her father said, "I really thought that you thoroughly hated her; therefore I gave her to your companion. [Is] not her younger sister better than she? Please, take her instead". And Samson said to them, "This time I shall be blameless regarding the Philistines if I harm them!".
و ذهب شمشون و امسك ثلاث مئة ابن اوى و اخذ مشاعل و جعل ذنبا الى ذنب و وضع مشعلا بين كل ذنبين في الوسط. ثم اضرم المشاعل نارا و اطلقها بين زروع الفلسطينيين فاحرق الاكداس و الزرع و كروم الزيتون.
Then Samson went and caught three hundred foxes; and he took torches, turned [the foxes] tail to tail, and put a torch between each pair of tails. When he had set the torches on fire, he let [the foxes] go into the standing grain of the Philistines, and burned up both the shocks and the standing grain, as well as the vineyards [and] olive groves.
فقال الفلسطينيون من فعل هذا فقالوا شمشون صهر التمني لانه اخذ امراته و اعطاها لصاحبه فصعد الفلسطينيون و احرقوها و اباها بالنار. فقال لهم شمشون و لو فعلتم هذا فاني انتقم منكم و بعد اكف.و ضربهم ساقا على فخذ ضربا عظيما ثم نزل و اقام في شق صخرة عيطم. (قض 15 : 1- 8)
Then the Philistines said, "Who has done this?" And they answered, "Samson, the son-in-law of the Timnite, because he has taken his wife and given her to his companion" So the Philistines came up and burned her and her father with fire. Samson said to them, "Since you would do a thing like this, I will surely take revenge on you, and after that I will cease". So he attacked them hip and thigh with a great slaughter; then he went down and dwelt in the cleft of the rock of Etam. (Jdg 15 : 1 - 8)
و مستعدين لان ننتقم على كل عصيان متى كملت طاعتكم (2كو 10 : 6)

من يفعل الخطية فهو من ابليس لان ابليس من البدء يخطئ لاجل هذا اظهر ابن الله لكي ينقض اعمال ابليس (1يو 3 : 8)
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil (1Jo 3 : 8)

A Strange Battle
فان مصارعتنا ليست مع دم و لحم بل مع الرؤساء مع السلاطين مع ولاة العالم على ظلمة هذا الدهر مع اجناد الشر الروحية في السماويات (اف 6 : 12)
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places] (Eph 6 : 12)
و تعلم هذه الجماعة كلها انه ليس بسيف و لا برمح يخلص الرب لان الحرب للرب و هو يدفعكم ليدنا (1صم 17 : 47)
"Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle [is] the LORD's, and He will give you into our hands" (1Sa 17 : 47)

و ذهب شمشون و امسك ثلاث مئة ابن اوى و اخذ مشاعل و جعل ذنبا الى ذنب و وضع مشعلا بين كل ذنبين في الوسط (قض 15 : 4)

فقلت لا اذكره و لا انطق بعد باسمه فكان في قلبي كنار محرقة محصورة في عظامي فمللت من الامساك و لم استطع (ار 20 : 9)
Then I said, "I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name" But [His word] was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding [it] back, And I could not (Jer 20 : 9)

و بعد ذلك عين الرب سبعين اخرين ايضا و ارسلهم اثنين اثنين امام وجهه الى كل مدينة و موضع حيث كان هو مزمعا ان ياتي (لو 10 : 1)

Two by Two
After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go (Luk 10 : 1)
لانه ان وقع احدهما يقيمه رفيقه و ويل لمن هو وحده ان وقع اذ ليس ثان ليقيمه (جا 4 : 10)
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him [who is] alone when he falls, For [he has] no one to help him up (Ecc 4 : 10)
