CCS and MA billing

    • CCS should not be put into the IEP because it is not FAPE; MA Billing can’t bill if not in IEP; BSE recommends not to be documented in IEP but as additional services, CCS is effort to remedy loss skills; seeing trends in due process where hearing officers are honoring CCS experiences for comp ed; BSE stance is it is more important to remedy loss of skills and progress long term; working with MA to see if services are written in a different document (say NOREP) can that be billable
    • ESSRs dollars could and should be used to support Act 66 eligible students (might not be SBAP reimbursed)
