WE REMEMBER
WOODLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL • PHYSICAL EDUCATION
03
These activities were not meant to equate exercise with the lives lost or the experiences of those affected. Instead, they offer students an age-appropriate opportunity to pause, reflect, and learn. As we remember September 11, we honor those who died, recognize the courage and service of first responders and helpers, and acknowledge the lasting impact on families, communities, and our country.

MORE THAN A RIDDLE
Sixth graders in Ms. McCormick’s math class are solving riddles that put their logic and problem-solving skills to the test. As they work together, they are practicing perseverance and learning to share ideas when a solution is not immediately clear.
