DIBELS & iREADY Progress Monitoring

• Use technology at home to further engage with homework. (mirroring to T.V.) Use the tech in animated ways, as a family, to engage your children.

• Spend time with IXL and iREADY Math/ELA with your children and provide a place and time. (desk, quiet area, timers)

• Ask about their day and what they learned and expect elaborate details.

​

• Continued communication with teachers

• Understand the teacher’s discipline/reward systems and implement at home as well.

​

• Re-inforce at-home positive habits. (Getting to bed early, Wake up on time, Set up kids for success)

• Provide a loving, safe environment.

​

• More bonding and family experiences.

​

• Take kids to free events such as museums.

​

• Check backpacks and folders for assignments and projects.

​

• Promote literacy by reading to your child and by reading yourself.
