Examining Sea Level Rise Exposure for Future Populations
To assess the risk of future populations, the University of Georgia worked with Stetson University to model the effect of sea level rise on coastal areas. This map shows a scenario of three feet (0.9 m) of sea level rise.
The colors represent different numbers of people at risk of sea level rise. The areas in dark orange indicate a greater population at risk of sea level rise in 2100.
